CH-D was the first helicopter helicopter registered in Nova Scotia and became the first used in a SAR operation in Canada in 1952.
It was sold by the RCAF in 1964 to a private owner. In 1998 and was donated to the New England Air Museum in Bradley, Connecticut. They have restored it to its original RCAF markings.
